Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn was born in the United States. She was best known as Skyler on AMC's Breaking Bad drama, and won Primetime Emmy Award Outstanding Supporting Female Actress in Drama Series 2013 and 2014. The actress has also appeared as Jean Ward in The Practice and Martha Bullock in Deadwood. Anna Gunn grew up in Sante Fe New Mexico and fell in adore with acting when she was in the Preparatory School. The late 70's, her family relocated to Ohio. The theatre studies she pursued took place at Northwestern University. A semester was spent at the British American Drama Academy. Anna started out in Chicago, working in theatre roles for many years. After that, she relocated to Hollywood where she started acting in movies and television shows. Anna's first major part was Arden, in Down the Shore. She was in 29 episodes. Anna continued to be in film and television shows like Seinfeld, NYPD Blue and others until late the 1990's. Then she was cast in The Practice as Jean Ward. Martha Bullock was her role in Deadwood for two seasons. Skyler played Martha Bullock in Breaking Bad (2008). Sully and Deadwood was another movie she starred in. Gunn was also on the stage to play in the David Schwimmer's production Sex With Strangers. The year 2022 saw Gunn played in a 4-part audio-play podcast known as "Numbered days". Breaking Bad revolves around Walter White's wedding to Skyler. Walter White's life story as well as the stress on the marriage he shares with Skyler is mirrored in the show.
